Mr.Gangwani has always been so kind & patient. I have been seeing him for a number of years, firstly after a nasty accident to my right eye, & more recently with cataract & lense replacement to both eyes.
Mr.Gangwani was always very positive there would be a good result & he certainly didn't disappoint me. He has a very nice manner & talked me through whilst he operated on each eye under local anaesthetic.
I am so thrilled with the results after the cataract/lense replacement I can't praise him highly enough.

I don't think Mr Gangwani could give greater care than he already does. His treatment was excellent, my sight being improved beyond all expectations, and performed in a manner giving total reassurance to the patient.

Very approachable
Extremely professional and knowledgeable
Caring, gentle and no question was unanswered
Listened to all concerns, advised regarding best course of action with full explanations along the way
Put at ease throughout both procedures, felt very calm and safe
Amazing admin support from PA, all calls answered and/or returned in timely fashion, nothing felt like too much trouble

Mr Gangwani is put simply, superb. Having had keratoconus in both eyes leading to a hydrops episode in both eyes also I needed to have corneal grafts/transplants for both of my eyes.
The care and attention I received from Mr Gangwani was second-to-none. He was passionate about my care, empathetic and compassionate and informative and clear in communicating with me all that I needed to know and with answers to questions I had.
I felt completely safe and secure as his patient and my trust in him is absolute.
I cannot recommend him highly enough should you require corneal care.

Mr Gangwani is a highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist and Cataract/Corneal Surgeon with special interest in complex cornea, eye surface diseases, and modern cataract surgery.
He is a consultant eye surgeon at the Ashford & St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust, where he is also the Clinical Lead for cataract micro-surgery. He completed a fellowship in cataract surgery at Moorfields eye hospital, where he gained extensive experience in complex cataract surgery and premium intra-ocular implants (multifocal and toric).
He followed this up with a renowned fellowship in the cornea and external disease at Moorfields Eye Hospital and also at Kings College Hospital in London. He provides tertiary corneal and cataract surgery expertise for routine and complex corneal problems.
Mr Gangwani has delivered numerous presentations at international conferences and published widely in multiple peer reviewed journals including American Journal of Ophthalmology, Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and British Journal of Ophthalmology. His active areas of interest include: management of astigmatism during cataract surgery, lamellar corneal transplants, bespoke cataract surgery including multifocal/ trifocal implants.
